DALTON TOWNSHIP ANNUAL MEETING OF ELECTORS,

SPECIAL MEETING & BUDGET HEARING

MARCH 21st, 2026 – 10:00 A.M.

Meeting will be held at the Dalton Township Hall, 1616 E. Riley Thompson Road, Muskegon, MI 49445.

Dalton Township will hold the Annual Meeting of Electors at 10:00 A.M. Immediately following, the Dalton Township Board of Trustees will hold a Special Meeting with a public hearing on the proposed Township budget for the fiscal year 2026-2027.  The Township Board will be voting on the 2026-2027 Fiscal Year Budget and the final budget amendments of Fiscal Year 2025-2026.

THE PROPERTY TAX MILLAGE RATE PROPOSED TO BE LEVIED TO SUPPORT THE PROPOSED BUDGET WILL BE A SUBJECT AT THIS HEARING.

A copy of the proposed budget is available for inspection at the Dalton Township Hall at the address listed above.

Dalton Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed material being considered at the meeting to individuals who want to attend the meeting upon seven (7) days’ notice to the Dalton Township Clerk.  Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aides or services should contact, Amy Brown, Dalton Township Clerk (231) 766-3043, 1616 E.
