NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Dalton Township Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 6:00 pm at 1616 E Riley Thompson Rd in consideration of the following requests:

• A Special Land Use Application to construct and establish a private road to extend beyond the publicly maintained portion of E Daniels Rd to provide vehicular access Parcel 61-07-507-038-0001-00.
• A Special Land Use Application to expand an existing Campground (recreation facility) to construct a pavilion at the KOA Campground on Strand Rd, parcel 61-07-028-100-0015-00

The application materials, and the Dalton Township Zoning Ordinance are available for review at the Dalton Township Hall, 1616 E. Riley Thompson Rd during the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Any interested person may attend the public hearings and may offer comments to the planning commission.
