Winter Updates (Dec, 2017-February 2018)

~Winter Tax bills were mailed December 1st; Taxes are due February 14, 2018.  All unpaid summer taxes have 1% interest applied monthly.  Winter balances remaining after the due date will received a 3% penalty.  All 2017 taxes are payable at Dalton Township until the end of February 2018.  All balances remaining will be forwarded as delinquent to the Muskegon County Treasurer March 1, 2018.  For more information regarding payment options and locations, please click here.

~Dalton Township's E-Newsletter:  Anyone who wishes to start receiving or continue receiving these emailed newsletters/updates, please send your name and email address to deptreas@daltontownship.org - Please specify you are requesting to be added to the e-news list.  Previously newsletters were monthly or quarterly; additional reminders may be sent out as needed (i.e. tax payments reminder in February, ect.)

August 2017 Updates

Election Results: The Dalton Township Fire Equipment Millage Request passed!  Tax payers will see the new millage on the Winter Tax Bill for 10 years, starting 2017.

Road Improvement Project: The Muskegon County Road Commission has notified residents regarding the upcoming work on River Road from Buys Road to Whitehall Road.  Michigan Paving and Materials Company (231-733-1409) will be performing the work, per the MCRC, with work begining September 5, 2017 and an estimated completion date of November 3, 2017.  For more information you can contact the MCRC's Engineering Department at 231-788-2381.

July 2017 Updates

AUGUST 8TH, 2017 ELECTION - Dalton Township's ballot will contain one milleage request: Fire Equipment Milleage.  For more information, contact Fire Chief Alan Styles (231-332-6710) or Dalton Township Clerk Mary Ann Wallace (231-332-6709)
